The Spring School of EcoLab 2014 has brought together 29 young people from all over Armenia. They got acquainted with the concept of sustainability and designed community-based projects to try and solve some of the most pertinent issues that their communities are facing nowadays.
The projects are addressing such issues as youth unemployment, excessive use of plastic bags, absence of recycling and other local and global issues. Our participants are very keen on investing their time and efforts into the development of youth entrepreneurship, ecotourism, ecoagriculture and whatnot.
The selection committee which was comprised of EcoLab coordination team and representatives of partner organizations choose 11 projects to get fine-tuned at the Project Management meeting and be implemented this summer.
